Alberta Video Analysis Ltd. is owned and operated by Dwayne and Lisa Pilling. Dwayne has been employed with the Edmonton Police Service in the Forensic Video Analysis Detail in the Technological Crime Unit since September 2011. From October 1985 to September 2011, Dwayne was employed by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. The last 10 years of service for the RCMP, Dwayne worked in the Technological Crime Unit. At the time of his retirement from the RCMP he was a Corporal in the unit where his responsibilities were to investigate network intrusions and work in the Critical Infrastructure Protection and National Security.

Dwayne is a Certified Video Forensic Technician and Video Comparison Analyst. He received his training through Law Enforcement & Emergency Services Video Association International (LEVA). 

Alberta Video Analysis Ltd. was incorporated in January 2015.
